The photo is great, simple but tells a story well. I'm sorry though, I don't understand the ring and why the gold part looks misshapen. Best of luck with the contest

A very nice still life shot. Exposure is perfect to my eyes as is focus and composition. I know a few guys who might want the same things.

Wine, roses and jewellery, that says it all. The lighting especially nice. The focus and tight cropping is perfect. The elegant colors or the dark greens and yellow roses against white is stunning. The rest of the unseen scene leaves a touch of imagination and probably a very romantic evening.
