If this is the shot you took with me then I say Bravo!
But, it was also Kelvin scale that allowed you to get this due to the low light. If not, you got lucky! I love the title and the poses of each. Exposure handling the whites is as I taught you..perfect!
Love the highlights in the wings of Parsley and Sage.
Fine exiting to create a magical shot of Great Egrets in the rookery.
Nice work Shadow! 👊
PS.. I told you NOT to take it unless you were willing to use Kelvin Scale! ✊

Yep, you were there next to me telling me not to take it. ;) just a lucky shot. I think I used kelvin here. Thanks Sange.

No... I know you used Kelvin here. It was too dark other wise. You were excited that you git it. Luck would be if you shot it without Kelvin. The sun was almost gone in this shot.
You did a fine job..skill more than luck..and having an awesome teacher!! Ha! Who flippin adores you???? Who??

Hilarious!
Great title and naming...lol
Fantastic lighting on the wings and feathers.
Great composition and framing, it looks like the action of one bird in stages of leaving the nest. Well done!

I like the effect the frac filter has given this Eileen, and love how the sunlight lights up the wings and highlights the leaves. A wonderful shot and super recovery!:)

Like your edit on these three who are not ready to leave the nest yet. Bet Mom and Pop are about ready for them to be on their own. Colorful, like the lighting and frame to show three young and maybe a tad spoiled ones.

Really we'll done work. It has a very hand crafted feel to it. The stark contrast of the rich green foliage and the softness of the subjects works to enhance the beauty of this work. Very we'll done. Thanks
PS the Simon and Garfunkle reference is appreciated .

This beautiful image shows great aesthetic and technical powers. I like the translucence of the bird's wings.
