Hm, the title states just what I was thinking. That everything looks like satin ribbons. Interesting effect. I like the way you handled the background in a dark vignette style. Very nicely done. Good luck in the competition!

This is a classy looking work! It has New York City written all over it... simply yet elegant in design. The sheens and reflections of light is captivating to the eye. The softened tones in the background do a great job of highlighting the blossoms. Great composition and classically simple.
