I absolutely love still life and so I am always drawn to any submissions on the site that exploit this art form. This is a generally beautiful painting with great composition. I very much like the flowers and the dark vase with just those hints of highlight. However, I'm not sure about that rather harsh foliage on the left of the frame. For me its lack of detail and odd shape take something away from an otherwise outstanding piece. However I greatly admire your talent and skill in producing such a good painting. Thank you so much for sharing.

Just looking at the vase and background, shows the skill level that is mastered in this presentation.
