See with your heart explore with your eyes ! ! ! I LOVE IT. I missed this entry as I usually always give a review to entries into contests I create. This must have been a late entry. I decided to look in your portfolio today and it was this one and the ape photo that really popped at me.
I see you too are not promoting work, so you know that the reviews you do get don't give a rat's ass about collecting coin but sincerely want to help.
I want you to know I love this interpretation of the contest. I think your manipulation is very creative and it makes me want to try something like this as well.
Thank you also for those excellent artist's notes which I appreciate more than you will ever know.

I used Photoshop to turn my Lady Slipper flower into the background and then took that into Powerpoint where I removed the background of the butterfly photo and replaced its background with what I created with the Lady Slipper. Thanks for taking the time to review and comment. I do appreciate your effort.

Nice colors. you have a nice dynamic going with the spiral or swirl but then the butterfly abruptly breaks out of the blue and begins the escape by flying against the direction of the spiral. The colors don't blend or merge together...it looks like the image of the butterfly and the escape path were just put there. Minor botherance. the butterfly needs antennae. Use the pen tool to correct this easily.

This is very pretty. I like the way the butterfly seems to swirl out of the background and rise to the top. Colors are pretty. The backing is a little busy.
