Wonderful shot. I'll put here 6 * after middle of night. Great stop the action, nice lighting, sharp focus, and nice color and contrast. I like the angle of capture and the background. Well done.

Mary, this is a very good presentation from the compositional aspect and from technical.

It is a visually strong shot showing main focal point and engrossing the viewer into the story. Every image tells a story and this one does in spades.

Your technical handling is also very well done. Are you shooting manual or A (automatic?). If you are on A it is time to switch to manual as that will give you even more creative control such as blurring the background and adjusting exposure.

This is a good shot and is quite interesting.

Thanks Olga, I rarely use auto but mainly use Aperture. Prefer to go alone to places as I feel pressured when with others to hurry rather than taking time to select best setting and composition - which was a bit the case here.

Nice photo of these two butting heads. Probably their fun for the day. ha They are interesting animals and I have seen them at zoos here in the states. Good stop action just as they clash heads. Thanks for sharing your zoo with us Mary. Makes me want to take a trip to the Seattle zoo.

I like the framing and the intense action. The colors are very attractive, but I am not a fan of the cyclone fence in the background.

Thanks Mike, yes need the cyclone fence as they can jump 1.8 metres (6ft) from a standing position and difficult not to get in frame. :) Mary

They look like beautiful animals. A good stop action view as they butt heads, focused and framed to show the tan coat and long mane. Very well done.

Thanks George, they are interesting animals they can jump 1.8 metres (6 ft) from a standing position hence the high cyclone fence. :) Mary

I don't know what you meant to do here, but one could, I think, see two guys bowing to each other, like Sumo wrestlers. Anyway, the technics are very nice and well done. Cheers, JR.

Thanks James, I think the sumo wrestlers are a lot larger and don't they wear nappies :) - appreciate your feedback :) Mary
