I just love it when the title so fits the picture! A beautiful name and beautiful dog sweet in every way , love what you did with the background and her perky nose . Now this is a wall hanger :) its precious . A total keeper (smiles) Bev :)

Thank you BEV for such a wonderful review and such a high rating on this. The background was the idea of the person I painted this for. I tried about 20 different backgrounds and nothing seemed to work . When she suggested this leaves, it seemed to pop. I can't say whose pup this is yet because its in a contest and it will be pretty easy to guess who painted it, but I'll let everyone know after the contest.

These cute little ones are really challenging to photograph. Their long hair and color requires many shots and a lot of patience. My mom and dad have two of these guys.
You have done well here with a nice focus and a light background to accentuate the details in the coat. I think the leaves are trying to compete a little. Nice work - good luck in the contest. Kathy

The detail in the fur is perfect, simply perfect and you have caught the personality of the dog well...she looks spunky and ready to play with whatever has caught her attention beyond the frame.
I like the background of trees as it gives an out doors feel, like she is playing in your garden.
The tonal quality makes this art pop and I know you are just dying for constructive criticism and I have nothing to add to this perfect profile portrait of a loved pet.

She has adorable ears -- and I like how you did the "sprouts" of hair on her forehead.
I think the leaves in the background detract from her adorable face --- by taking away some attention from it.
