Trees at night take on a certain mystery

I love depth of this one, Eileen, and how the viewer is drawn into to layers and layers of stunning branch configurations. I also like how even for a fairly dark scene there is a wonderful essence of light coming through from that far background. Its like once we pull back those two tall straight trees near the center a fantasy world will open behind the branches. Excellent and full of story telling capability.

Thanks for posting this one Eileen - I photograph trees and tree trunks all the time but what I see never seems to be quite right when I view them later. You have managed what I have missed in the past :) The complex patterning of branches creating its own web is captured brilliantly here. :) Mary

A kind of spooky look and feel to this one. Very good silhouette on the trees, back lighting, focus, frame and edit for a deep in the woods look.

Superb capture of my favorite tree with the bearded old man hanging. This should have been your entry for black and white in nature.
Superb exposure and contrast between the black and white, fine framing, great focus and details.
Fine shooting Shadow!😀😀❤

Is it the tree from our wetlands?

Sure is. The best trees are there.

This is a stunning shot! I love the tangle of big branches and small twigs!

I might not have centered the two trees... but moved them to one side or the other a bit --- I think the photo would have even ore interest!

Very nice work!
