You Wickedly Clever, clever Woman! This is a well thought out composition. The background is like a page from your diary, the mirror is very sexy with the handle being a nude woman with her back towards us holding the mirror. I love it!
Then we have the Then and now Classy Annie I adore.
I read some quotes on rules of a lady. My favorite one is,
The only person you need to compare yourself to is who you have been. The only person you need to be better than is who you are now.

So I happen to like the Silver foxy lady you are now. You have taught me that there is a fine line between being honest and being rude..NEVER confuse the two.

Real clever stuff annie and like the thought process behind this,normanally don,t like the selfies that most people take.mostly they are usually naff,but this is one with a difference and taken with a bit of thought,hope this wins this one...brian

Amazing photography! I love the composition, the idea behind the photography. I like the colors and the background, as well as the colors on the reflection in the mirror that contrast the grey of the woman holding the mirror. Thanks for sharing

You captured it exactly the way itīs experienced. You look at yourself in the mirror and canīt believe so you self-photoshop the image :) Very creative work. Highly expressive. Nice tones in the hair. Great work!

How wonderfully creative, Annie. My favorite part is that the newer photo that one would expect to be in color is in B&W and the older photo that could more likely be in B&W is in color. Neat. All your technical expertise is vividly evident in creating this wonderful and original selfie. Excellent.

This is an absolutely stunning piece of artwork. When I first saw it, it reminded me of myself since I am approaching my 68th birthday. I can identify with the lady in this portrait, wishing I were young again..
I love the way that you have used two different medias in one piece. Both are superb works on their own. The background is so detailed in the writings that she has evidently received in her youth.
