What a wonderful shot BFF. I am so glad you reposted this one.

Your black and white rendering of this Gorilla was exactly what was needed to make a dramatic impact.

That enigmatic smile and facial look tells so may stories and makes one wonder what may be going through the mind.

Great details in the fur with the background blurred just enough to bring out the drama in this deep thinker.

Your choice of black and white works well along with a good tonal range. I think you did a good job of capture a candid shot of the gorilla. I like how well you captured the eyes and the wonderful expression. Very well photographed with good lighting, sharp focus, and outstanding details. Your diffused background compliments your work.
