Mary,
A beautiful herald of your Spring as we are heading into Autumn. Artistic composition & framing beautiful lighting to show off the beauty of the Daffodil to best advantage. Superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

A sure sign of spring (most of the time). Today I saw crocuses just coming up and some were already opened. Most peculiar at the end of September in Michigan. I like this bright and cheerful image. The details are fine and the colors rich and saturated.

You always know spring is here when the daffodils start blooming. Strange for us to see spring shots this time of year but glad you are entering into the flower season there. Good photo of this pretty daffodil with its big trumpet bloom. Nice sharp photo.

Seems strange to see spring flowers as we here up north, are going into the Fall season. My Father's favorite flower and one I admire that I found in different colors and shapes. A very good focus, frame and exposure to show the beauty of spring.

The focus on this photograph could be sharper (but I am wondering if it is because of the FAR upload.)

Nice colors in this one... I like the leading lines of those daffodil leaves.

Lovely close up of the beautiful Daffodil in the sunshine, heralding the coming of Spring in your part of the world. We're at the opposite side of the world so leaves are just beginning to fall. I like the angle you used for this with the flowers going diagonally across the frame.

Lighting and focus very good showing excellent clarity. Very nice composition. Suzanne

Thanks Suzanne - I just reloaded it as the first upload was a bit dull so brightened.

Lovely daffodil showing both petals and trumpet in yellow. The background is muted so it doesn't distract from the main subject. Good cropping which shows some foliage too. My one suggestion would be make the picture a little brighter as the yellow is a little dull. The lighting was obviously good but the picture is not shown in all its glory on here.

Ahhh ... that's much better. It was such a lovely daffodil in the sun.

The glare of the golden daffodils truly reflects the arrival of Spring and the shine of this single color makes us realize that the time for the beauty if nature has arrived. It goes perfect with the bright green and both the shades are in perfect harmony.
