I love the branches forming a prison fence. Amazing. Clear colours, straight forward images, which give immediate clarity to the design and thoughts behind this image. Even the branch-shadows are perfect

I am a little late in seeing this one but you certainly have captured the horror! The trees even look scary....
Happy Halloween!

This is totally awesome, I truly love this Halloweflowerly scary scene. Great presentation and colors are bright and fun. I love the way your branches travel to left and right with the moon showing through them. The scary flowers are fun and the grasses bring them out for center of interest. Love the yellow road and shadow from them and your forefront ground cover is nicely detailed. Excellent job MK.

Comical Halloween preparation.Natural flow of sharpie. Nice haunting background in the woods, and moon peering in. Evil looking flowers. Well framed, well done.

Cool full moon and a neat "night shadow" under the "horseman".
As always fantactic detail in the entire scene.
How do you think these things up?

Initial Impression:

Yep... It's that haunted time of year. What a classic; The Headless Horseman.

Technical and Artistic Elements:

The first thing that hits me is the detail in the foreground - each and every leaf having distinction and definition; a nice stage / leading line to support the characters and their shadows. Your attention to expression on flower faces is always amusing and tells the story. Bravo! You included that distant full moon (a must for the scene) to remind us it's a bewitching hour. I like the dense trees that resemble a fence, suggesting there is nowhere to run for safety. You have selected a nice sky color that is neither to dark or light and yet supports the p.m. hours.

Mark - again you offer us a wonderful flower cartoon in the likeness of a well known movie. Well crafted and presented - a pleasure to review. Kathy
