I love forest scenes like this. Reminds me of my own experience of being in such an environment. Even the light itself seems to have a greenish tint. I was there, years ago.

The colour of the path compliments the green forest surroundings and draws me into the scene. I want to explore further. I agree the tripod is an essential photographer's tool. My camera is never off the tripod when I am out and about shooting. Never know when I come upon a serendipitous moment.

I was in this contest, and as soon as I saw this, I knew I was toast! LOL.

As a funny aside, I had your picture up when my wife walked into the room.. her only remark was 'Oh my God!" LOL.

Your colors are off the chart perfect the various shades of deep woods green and sunlit greens is wonderful.

Bravo! Standing and clapping!

Gidday, for a bloke that lives in red dust and flat plains, ahhhhhhhhhhh what I would give to see this. Well I have and you have captured it to perfection. Superb, stunning, beautiful. From a fairy tail book! expect to see little red riding hood walk around the corner, well or a bear! Love it, dave :)

Wow, it shows the value of having your camera with you at all times. A gorgeous photo, in all aspects of photography. Shadows and lighting very impressive.
