Linda, my Friend. I am thrilled to join the folks that have already given you a 6 on this. Likely they, like me, wish they could somehow make their 6 into a 12! Every single time I see one of your works, I think that I've seen the pinnacle. You couldn't possibly do a drawing better than what ever I'd be looking at, then you come around and pull something like this on us! You are just plain flat out amazing my friend. Incredible! It would be so cool if it happened that my 6 here would put you over the top to get the All Time Best!
God has seen fit to gift you with a talent that precious few others have, and it is a blessing to me to be able to share it in the tiniest of ways. I pray that God will continue His blessing on you, so that the rest of us can see His glory through you. Have a wonderful weekend. Lynne

My last six, but you are very
deserving of this and more.
Absolute beautiful.
To think all this is done with
pencil just blows what little
mind I have.
You are so gifted and talented.
So glad you shared.

Outstanding art the work you have done with the skin tone is masterful. Your blending and fading set the mood for the viewer.

wow this is so beautiful, and the way you posed the head, just a tilt of the head makes this so realistic and gives added drama...wonderful image

When I saw this portrait I had to review it as it drew me in (no pun intended). I love the back lighting which gives the girl a halo effect. In fact the whole picture contains such atmospheric lighting and clever shading. It transports you to a different era. The glint in her eye gives her that mischievous spark. Dark lips in that time meant she wasn't that innocent either (wink wink). Wonderful tonal differences in the hair too which really show off the intricate curls and loops. A lovely portrait - I wonder who she was?

As always, you are most welcome. I alsays say what I feel when reviewing a picture. I hope I don't gush too much? :-)
Regards Sessy

Oh heavens no, you don't gush at all.

Thank goodness for that! :-)

have to say that it reminds me of an old simon and garfunkel song, i.e. a song penned by paul back in the early sixties called ĻTo Emily, wherever you are.Ļ Remember that one? I sure do. Absolutely enchanting drawing. Contrast couldnīt be better, facial features and proportions couldnīt be better, either. Absolutely divine image!
