Hello Willie
Nice initial impact. The sand draws me down to the great blue water backed up by a soft light blue sky. Neat
The dog appears to be a little cautious about the water and has not yet decided whether to fully commit or not. Neat
The single red item really stands out against all the blue and is a great focal point.
Tie it all you together and you have a quiet smooth pleasant story.
Nicely done.

Thank you so very much! We are going back to Florida this Jan. And plan to return in the spring. We bought a new camper and are itching to use it.

I am almost sure it is your wife walking along the beach, and then I suppose it os your pug as well. I think this is a lovely scene and I think you have pictured it really well. Of course the woman and the dog add interest but wish they were placed even further to the right.
Your photo is however crisp and clear showing fine details in the woman and dog, and the white waves are captured really well. The exposure is very good and the colors so nice and natural.
Apart from what I have already mentioned, the composition works well, and this is a well taken photo with a very good DOF. Again I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you so very much! Yes, this is my wife, I am surprised you knew that. This was a wonderful time we spent that day. I will try and crop out a bit off the right if I can. Thank you for your opinion!

I think you have placed them really well Willie. In my opinion this is now a much better photo.

Great shot Willie and you are so right if you want company just shout and bye the time I get there summer will be back . To the right of the ladies shoulder there is a small object in the water, any ideas.

I'm sure the dog is enjoying it as much as the lady in red. Great colors and fine composition with the high horizon line and the little patch of sand. I might crop off a little from the right so that the dog and woman are more toward the right side. It would be nice if there were more space on the left to make it a bit of a panorama.
