They are beautiful dogs and great family pets these days. See a lot of them around our area. Interesting to know that the gold rush was responsible for them coming to the US Neat shot of this one in it's original cold environment. Beautiful dog.

You sound like you are describing the perfect dog. One that Jack London would have no doubt idolized as being mostly human, only better :) The soft, silky finish makes the scene look a bit colder and the semi-closed eyes make you wonder if this dog sleeps while standing. If he´s dreaming of a bone, he must be asleep, right? Anyway, I wouldn´t touch this fine work.

( story my daughter had a blue eyed siberian husky She was the most beautiful loving dog ever & smart But thieves & people she knew when something wasn't right with them she would walk at a distance around & than silently walk up behind & howl like a wolf if they moved she would than step between us & them to block them / we had a really weird person one day came across very nice but our husky knew different & if not for her closing her jaws on his hand & taking him to the ground & than dragged him out the gate & just stood beside him until police arrived than & only than would she walk away & no she just hung on tight enough to let him know she could do real damage )
focus colour details of the coat & colours good .the collar clear & sharp the pose of the husky she or he looks like their talking Such a beautiful breed & you have taken a beautiful shot .
