beautiful hawk. Yes, they
always look like they are
staring right through you, but I try to believe they realize they cannot live on their own and are somehow almost satisfied with what they have been dealt. A hawk to me has a very strong character, so he will do.
Love the eye contact and the beautiful lighting on his chest. Did you note that the lighter feathers on his breast make a dreamcatcher?

These birds are magnificent and I have had the pleasure of flying them. This is a good close up image with nice clean clear detail. Its nice to see the complete bird as many have their feet out of frame.
The background is slightly spoilt by the wire which with another f/stop less may have lost it.
Overall a well framed image.
