Use of colour is great in this piece and demonstrates good skills with pastel - the reds around the breast and shiny area on the neck are very effective.

The contrasting colours and textures in the background are exceptional. I think the background is my favourite part of the drawing but that is not due to any issues with the pigeon, I just really like the background.

Excellent expression of the interpretation with vivid colors in the background to enhance the feathers.

Nice detail and colour in this drawing. You have in my opinion captured the colours just right even with the gold/yellow on the neck. The back ground colour scheme matches the bird well.
