This is an artistic presentation, it is photographic art. I live in the land of orchids but do not know of this one. I want to give you a bushel full of stars for your notes supergold, I have learned something new. Actually the whole flower looks like a nun's head to me. Did you find any of these when you were here?

I like the presentation, the colour and saturation is good and the balance feels right.

Thank you again.

    thanks a lot again Olga;
    these are cold growing orchids from Central America; impossible to grow in Thailand, except on the top of Doi Inthanon........

    Good to know. We may go to Doi Inthanon for the hot season instead of Nepal....still just talking about it. Can you suggest where we could go that isn't through the roof expensive for 3 months (March April and May)?

    Asia.........but you know better than me;
    otherwise all European countries, but much more expensive; particularly Holland forthe tulip season (end April)

    thanks a lot Mary for your kind comments;
    Hope you're living far away from the huge fires........

    Your welcome Fred, fires were around 25km from us as we are close to CBD but several friends have been evacuated fortunately not lost their homes however 38 families have. They appear to be under control today but lightning is causing some new outbreaks. :) Mary
