I really like this close up. He is really focused on his friends. Great skin tones and I like how you cropped this down. Love the background and the use of DOF. Make your little ball player pop. The only thing I would look at is maybe lighten around his eyes more to see how it looks. For me the eyes are key. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Very intense and those brown eyes are beautiful!

Catching kids without their knowledge are as hard as birds.

Thanks so much Sandy=) I am very proud of him! He lost his Mama ( my daughter in law to colon cancer 3 years ago when he was just 5... He has turned into such a sweet and loving boy=) I know she would be so proud of him and his brother=) Thanks again! Lilibug6

We were...at least we have a very close family and have stayed close to Katie's family as well so my son has had a lot of support! He has met a very nice woman finally who has two boys of her own so they are working together to raise the kids and I do all the daycare=)

Love the frame, that shows a wonderful closing of the face. The facial expression is fully absorbed in the play. These are the better snapshots, when not is posing for the camera. Well done, I love it.

Before I read your notes, I felt the baseball vibe. Especially in light of the Class of 2015 Hall of Fame announcements, this work speaks to the dreams and wonder of playing baseball as a child and an adult...Bottom of the last inning, 2 outs, full count, "Buster the Bomber" steps into the batters box, do you shake off the catchers signal and just go for the Heat?...Thanks for the wonderful memories and this exquisite work that goes to the heart.

initial impact is very good. i like the slightly blurred background, it gives a nice dimension. his sweet little face is just perfect. all innocence with those beautiful eyes. you've captured him perfectly.
