The food makes me hungry. You should have not over sized your focus on the pot. Include the pot and a garnish of things like cook utensils or stove. Make the picture more kitchen like too.

only the food is interesting: not the pot or kitchen ustensils; why not the cook too?

Very colorful! ...and the blue pot is a good choice with the colors inside. However, the focus is soft... possible because of steam?
Also, when photographing food from above, conventional wisdom says to include the entire plate and a bit of the surrounding surface.

there is no blue pot: it is the wall;
the pot is black with white spots, and on my screen it is very sharp; cooked food has always a soft aspect;

Looks tasty - my husband does the majority of the cooking at our house as well. This does look good. I might have to give it a go. Similar to a stew in theory.
Nice shot Fred - looks ready for a cookbook. Kathy

Looks delicious, is it spicy? I've sampled other Moroccan dishes in France they were very spicy. Nice colors that are eye appealing. Like the blue enameled pot tying in with the blue and white tiles. Nice image!

This is a very colorful dish and looks very tasty. I do not think I would like it with fish however. How does the American recipes differ? They spoil the plate?
