This little monkey is ever so cute Eileen, and I especially like the way the light is shining through the fur around its face. You have also captured its big shiny eyes so well, and it is standing out from the dark background in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the monkey. The exposure is spot on.
I also like the tight cropping and the placement of the monkey within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

What a great shop BFF. I can see why it was part of the mixed media photo of the month.
The placement in the frame is spot on. The focus is sharp and the back lighting really makes this one. Of course that little face tugger at the heart strings.

Beautiful work and I wish I had a "6". You deserved the mixed media photograph of the year. Congratulations! The golds in that monkey really flourish against the dark, almost black background. Looks like a realistic skilled painting and would make a beautiful one too.
