What a beautiful view on these pretty view on these yellow flowers. Like the frame, exposure and focus to show the beauty of these. Yes, the 1960's was a time of my life as I was in the service and growing up.

You are right with this. I remember Flower Power well. I am child of the those 60's and the movement, just in an very different way in a very different part of the world behind an iron curtain. This little obnoxious weed seems somewhat an symbol of our hope in this movement because this movement was somewhat which the politics on both site of Berlin Wall [build 1962] tried to take out. Those times in Europe and especial Berlin, Germany were just the opposite of piece.
It is a well taken photo, which shows that even a weed has beautiful flowers. The yellow petals and brown seeds stand out very sharp which means jour focal was at point and your dept was just right.

I am from Berlin, Germany [east side, Sowjet zone, GDR], but migrated 20 years ago to Mexico. I live in the US for the last two years.

My friend goes back every year to visit family and go on his photo shoots. He loves visiting.

He is lucky, he has family left. For me Germany is mostly bad or sad memories, so I try not to think to much about.

Oh I do remember the peace flowers. Were you a hippy girl. I married young to a medical student so I couldn't play that role :(. Love the framing of these lovely flowers. This couldn't be more perfectly composed. Excellent light, DOF and focus. Cyber 6.

Yes, I was a hippy girl but not to the full extent. Just loved the Peace part and dressed the part. Thanks so much for the wonderful memories :)
