This is a lovely face. The only thing I see wrong is the width of the nose which would not be apparent to everyone. The eyes are wonderful, You did an excellent job captureing the anticipation in the eyes and moutth. I like Very much. Fur is hard to draw(beards too) you did very well. GOOD JOB

This is a beautiful sketch and the detail is exquisite. I recently sketched little red riding hood with colour pencils (can be found in my portfolio) and this looks like its companion piece, if you'll excuse the liberty taken in asserting this :) thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest. R

Thank you so much for your lovely review. I'll have a look at your Red Riding Hood. Did you find the coloured pencils didn't upload as the true colours? I have always had difficulty with the uploads of pastel paintings, watercolours and pencils as they always look a bit washed out.

you've done a nice job with the colored pencils in creating this wolf. his coloring is good and blends well. he looks ready for any prey so the feeling you conveyed is good. his mouth really draws you in. nice job.

I love wolves in first place and the close up face you designed is reflecting perfectly the character of a wolf - the eye expression is excellent the energetic look and the open mouth show perfectly the attention he pays for his environment -
This face is well placed in your frame , the pastel color reminding us a white Siberian wolf - the depth in his mouth is perfectly worked out - even being a drawing is has a reality impact - wonderful detail work on the fur - an overall well defined pencil work, all the best for the contest
