They can be right naughty birds sometimes but they are lovely to look at with that white body and dark head very handsome you have captured this very well as though he is looking straight at the lens very good thanks for sharing

Sandy,
Thanks a million for your great review. It was watching Juno's antics closely.

A fun shot as we are keeping a close watch on Juno and the feeders. Colorful, focused and framed to show the unique coat they have. Well done.

George,
Thanks a million for your great review. They are elegant birds the most handsome of the Crows on this side of the Atlantic.

Nice initial impact which is all about the bird. The composition is solid, good color and framing - had to be the whole magpie and that puts him focal point center. I don't adhere to that rule of thirds as "law" in every case and this certainly is the exception. You have such wonderful opportunities with all the smaller birds (I'm making suet cakes this week) that I never get. Here in Florida they have plenty of places to hide so I'm determined to make my garden a bird paradise. Easy to get the waders and water birds. Anyway...Your image has fantastic true to natural color and solid exposure and focus. Love your work. Thanks for sharing.
