Minimalist.
Simplified.
Visually soothing.
Harmonious colors.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF. Excellent lighting, focusing & framing. Thanks for sharing...

Well done! This is a gorgeous sunset. I love the soft colors, and how they are reflecting into the water. It just looks so calm and peaceful. Your focus, framing, and obviously the lighting are all amazing. You did a wonderful job :) Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work :)

Very nice photo. Good framing. The sun is soft giving a nice quiet sunset. There is just enough light to give light pink color to the clouds.

Nice capture. The angle of the shot of an ocean skyline with nice sunset is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

WOW. It stays light very late into the evening at that latitude!

Nice photograph of the sunset. I like the warm colors against that steel grey of the water and the sky. I also like the cloud patterns in the clouds... they act as leading lines to the sunshine.

(Artistic license: I don't know if I would have left in the buoy [?] in the background.)

Yes, it stays very light late into the evening! Where I live it will stay light until almost 10 pm in June and July. I debated about taking out the buoy (actually I think it's a boat but I have to go back and look at a larger image) and thought it might help to break up the water just a bit. I'll try it without. Thanks for the suggestion.

This is a beautiful shot of the sunset! You have timed it well. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!

Reminds me of when we were on an Alaskan cruise and the sunsets were at around 11:00 pm every night. A very calm sea with a pretty Russian sunset. A very pleasing photo
Ruth Ann and makes me want to take another cruise. My sister and husband did this Baltic cruise several years ago and really enjoyed it. Pretty seascape and sunset.

That is one of the benefits of being near the Arctic Circle but I sure wouldn't want to spend winter there when it' dark most of the day! Thank you for your comments!
