Dearest Linda, for some reason I could not read more of your story. I'll keep looking, but here is a picture of your daughter at the pose moment. Dark hair, teen eyes. Beautiful.
But I return to your daughter and what she must mean to you. I'm uncertified this is the one you lost or another, but in any case, the photo must've become dear to you.
As you found, "my grace is sufficient for you." Is true.
As a cancer survivor as well as my wife we all know how the Comforter stand beside us.

Thank you so much. Back when my daughter, Jamie, was about 7, I had a prophesy from a missionary, as she prayed over me. She prayed that God would give me a son, and then she began to say, and he will be a mighty man of God. God told me to name him Samuel. One year late, I became pregnant, finding out that I was having twins. Sure enough, One was a boy, Samuel, and the other a girl, Alyssa. The woman in the drawing. I always wondered why God had given me twins. Years later, I understood why. He knew Jamie would die, and I would need Alyssa. God is so good. Thank you for your wonderful support. I am so glad that you and your wife are survivors.

Once again, you demonstrate incredible talent. Beautiful use of lights and darks and a daring approach to compositional balance. The big poster shapes of light vs. dark are lovely . This drawing is wonderful and I love it, as I love all your work. Oh... and whoa, is your daughter ever pretty! :)

An image full of mystery and beauty. Is she your daughter or perhaps an image of Mary Magdalene waiting to serve her master. Very evocative of the feminine beauty and mystery of so many emotions. Great impact with a provocative intensity. I like it.

Your daughter is beautiful. She is put together in all the right places, just like your portrait of her. I can not believe, how you can draw, just like a photo. All I can keep thinking, is what a talent you have. Is this the whole portrait, or, has it been cropped for a closer look? I enjoy viewing your collection, Thanks Shirley.

Thank you Shirley. This is the picture I worked off of. That was all there was. Alyssa took the picture of herself for Facebook. I just had to draw it. For her Mother's Day gift.

Now here's a really attractive drawing,Linda!
I'm not going to really 'get into' commenting on it too gushingly or anything like that ( as the lady in the picture IS a representation of your daughter after all,and my 'compliments' on female beauty can sometimes come across as being not only 'frightening' but 'just plain weird' : D ) but I'm going to say that I like the drawing very much!
It's a really Good Show,my friend!

Gorgeous drawing. The facial expression draws you right into this piece. The eyes are like a window into her emotions! I especially like the placement of the subject. The shading on the mouth is great. Beautiful piece!
