What a picture !! I am looking at this through artist's eyes and I see a wonderful shot. Everything about this is A1. I judge a picture by - did it catch my eye - this one certainly did. Impact,composition,focus,depth all excellent and beautifully finished off with that reflection. Good work and thank you for sharing - Ronne

Aw, you shouldn't have! This is just perfect - the colors, the reflections, the lighting. At first look I thought you did some adjusting , but to see that it is what it is takes my breath away. Aw, you shouldn't have! This is just perfect - the colors, the reflections, the lighting. At first look I thought you did some adjusting , but to see that it is what it is takes my breath away. Can I move into the house and live there? Composition, framing, focus and DOF are outstanding. Thanks for sharing.

This picture is awesome. The colors are vibrant even in the water. Do you live in New York City or just work there? This picture is obviously not NYC unless it's in Central Park. Thanks for sharing.

This is indeed a beautiful scene with the strong and vibrant autumn colors, and I especially like how nicely they are reflected in the shiny water. I do have a feeling that the photo is tilting a bit to the right, but is not at all sure.
Your photo is crisp and clear with sharp details, and it is truly lovely the way the light is falling on the colorful trees. I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.
The photo is well framed and also the format works really well. You had a fine view when this photo was taken. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

Absolutely magnificent shot! Virbrant colors outstanding composition. The center tree adds an amazing energy and aesthetic. Either half (top/bottom) of this work could stand very well on it's own mertits, together just an overwhelmingly beautiful work. Thanks

My goodness,this is just such a lovely photo, Paula! You have used your excellent technical skills to create a photo that is a work of art. Your rich color saturation is lovely on the bank of trees, but to capture it also in the reflection in the water is spectacular. The light transcendence is the essence of this inspiring photo. So lovely. I am analytical and have a strong sense of a level horizon or in this case a shoreline. They tend to be more tricky and I look at your trees to see if they are in fact standing naturally tall and straight if they should be. This is perfection in every way.
