I was on the front page and was about to go off then I saw this and just had to tell you what a wonderful presentation this is and it affected me with visual oooomph.

For some reason, it reminded me of war, perhaps it was the barbed wire, the broken pole all spelling destruction.

Love the feel of this image, it is ominous with dark clouds, it is breezy with the grasses swaying, it is hopeful with life of birds in the distance.

This is very good and I just wanted you to know this.

Thank you, Life is but a dream. And thank you for taking the time to comment before you signed off. I can't say too much now, but your comments really got me to thinking of other countries and situations, too. ^o^

Very good impact of the barbed wire on the decaying post...it could be the old west, or western Europe. Love how you made it a silhouette against the sky to include the grass. Focus is just right....thanks for sharing and HAGE.

Very Nice!!!! I love the broken fence being your focal point. It is a very dramatic way to get the point across that man has been here. I love the colors chosen and the framing is excellent! Thanks for sharing.

Love the angle of the scene. The perspective of the scene is wonderful. The scene being back lit is perfect. As I have said before, I would love to watch this process of creating this scene. The touch of clouds and distant birds adds a great finish to the scene.

How cool is this and what a great entry for the contest. I initially thought this was a photograph and I loved the minimal approach to it. Then I read this was a digital painting and was even more impresses. Great statement, simple yet with a very strong impact.

Best of luck in the contest :))
