You certainly know your flowers. I have so many wild flowers in my garden I cannot even begin to guess what each one is. I bet you could walk through my garden and point at each one and give me the name. This photo is exquisite. The white is so brilliant. The yellow inside its center is just as vibrant. I love that it is off centered. This would make a lovely postcard. Thanks again for sharing your talent with us. I enjoy it ever so much.

I try to make sure I find out the flowers names before I post a picture. If I don't find it in my Floer book & do a Google.

Thanks a million for your great review, they are beautiful but last just one day before they loose their petals. The flowering season is quiet long to make up for that.

So, this is a Dog Rose, hmm - I think I have seen them round about. Great focus - near perfect as you might say. The color and detail is fantastic in your bloom so both focus and exposure handled very well.
No zing, but I am not all in for your framing. The vignette is too intense at the outer edges and too soft inner... I know that's what it's designed to do but in this case it distracts a great deal from your perfect flower - to my view anyway. A lesser vignette with a more complimentary green would have been my choice. Your show so no zing. Thanks for sharing this fantastic bloom.
