This is so fitting of Frost's poem. Congratulations, it is also one of my favorites. I love all the color and details. An awesome work. Thanks for sharing. Just the right amount of color in the lower corner to add a touch of warmth

A lovely piece indeed. I really enjoy the colors used and the way you created this beautiful scene. The negative space giving it a nice flow, identity and dimensional feel. Good luck and thanks for sharing!

...on a non snowy evening?
Simple but visually appealing artwork as if to honor Frost's classic poem...
An interesting initial impact. Harmonious colors. An impressive artwork rendition. Colorful creation with excellent strokes & textures. Good compositional style. Great overall impact! Thanks for sharing...
(Is that purplish patch in between branches intentional?)

Not really!:) Just left it as it is! Did't want too much tinkering in this semi-abstract piece!Thank you very much for your time, review and rating. Much appreciated.

I love that quote but can't recall the author. This painting is very interesting and different than your usual style. Very nice colors and the woods in the background make the quote very appropriate. I love how you have painted the woods and the sky. Very deep and mysterious.

The author is the famous Robert Frost. This used to be my style once upon a time. I think I should revive it!:) Thank you very much for your time, review and rating. Much appreciated.

Thank you for clearing that up. It was used in a movie many years ago with Don Southerland, a mystery. :)))

Nice reference to Robert Frost and the poem... great inspiration too. The forest/woods in the background look thick and deep and the trees in front view set a lonely scene. Nice use of color in the ground cover. The sky has a stormy effect to it as if it might be getting ready to snow.

"Whose woods these are...I think I know" One of my favorite poems! Well done with fantastic colors. Love the reaching quality of the grasses and the trees. The composition is grandly put together. Nice flowing colors and light. The separation of the colors and imagery is visually pleasing and interesting. Nice textures. Thanks for sharing.
