Oh this is just too precious. A perfect entry for the simile contest but also a fabulous drawing of a beautiful child with her lamb. The epitome of gentleness. Best of luck in the contest. It's so lovely. Nancy

Beautiful and touching work! I love the lifelike quality found in your artistry as if a photo. Such peace and serene calmness in that lamb's eye as it takes in the gentle and innocent adoration that surrounds it, unconditionally on both ends. Love the light to dark contrasting, beauty of featuring, all those gorgeous details and lit wonderment that showcases and bring beauty from out of the darkness for all to see.

This is such a spiritual review, as if the words you share have come from your very soul. I don't believe that I have ever had anyone put into words, as you have done, what it is about my work that they like. I know that this is more than just a review, but it is a touching of one artist to another, and I humbly thank you.

WHERE ARE MY SIX STAR RATINGS????? OK - I am giving you a virtual 10 stars for this one. Your ability to draw people and animals is beyond compare. The scene alone is precious. The way you have drawn the little girl and her hair is amazing. The look on the little lambs face and its eye is so full of life. BRAVO!

Well, Victoria, you know that what we do, we can't help but do. Our gifts are from heaven above, and our God asks us to share. If you and I can, in some way, honor what He entrusts us with, then what we do makes all the difference. Let us continue to bring into the realm, the glory of our heavenly Father. I thank you for your wonderful review, as it is something that feeds my heart.

Linda, what you justify shared blessed me so very much. I do know what you mean. Privately, I ask for your prayers as I go for the first of a series of tests for a newly diagnosed neurological disease. It is very rare, genetic and only 300 cases reported in the whole world. My neurologist wants to make me a case study. Anyway, may not be posting much art for a little while... so you will know why I am away, but I plan to be back!

This is something that really needs a touch from Almighty God. First, I ask Him for His peace in your inner soul. That peace that only He can give. Let your thoughts not be troubled. I believe Christ would encourage you to continue creating. I will pray for a total deliverance from this mysterious ailment. God bless you.

Galia, if we can, with our art, point the souls of this earth to the glory of the Savior, then the art that we do holds the meaning of eternity.

I always have high regards for realist portraitist because of the degree of difficulty creating their images as opposed to fractal & digiartists...
This is a potential entry for the contest theme.
The interplay of lights & shades creates a dramatic highlighting on the subjects' facial features & textures.
An impressive artwork rendition. B&w creation with excellent strokes & textures. Good compositional style. Great overall impact!
Thanks for sharing...
Best of luck in the contest!

This is a very special image and a perfect reflection of the simile mentioned. It almost looks like a photograph. (I consider that statement to be high praise.) I just want to hug them both. Thanks so much.
