As Gentle As A Lamb.

A Simile for the Contest

If anyone thinks they can top this...they have another thing coming to them. If you don't win, I will eat my lens cap.

WE talk about art pulling out emotion from viewers. You have accomplished this in spades. The face of the lamb with eyes closed down, the squeeze of this little girl as she cuddles the animal. Well composed, drawn with your usual perfect style.

Top of the line!

I have used up all my 6 stars, sorry.

Cool! : D
Here's another great looking drawing that you've presented for us!
( I won't mention your name in these comments that I'm writing as I don't know if that violates any 'Contest Rules' or whatever but your highly developed individual style is as easily recognizable as my own is! )
The image suits you wonderfully,my friend!
Good Show!

I would say you accomplished your goal. Her hair is flowing nicely and the lamb looks very gentle. Great job on the girls features and expression. Good luck in the contest.

This would be a lovely piece to have hanging in the office of a counselor office for one who works with children who are having problems. When I was a little child and was being abused this picture would have given me a real feeling of peace and love. Patricia

Hello Linda,. It has to be you. No one else has the touch like you. I love the way the lamb looks like out the side of her eye. The little girl has that sweet look and the strand of hair I'd the perfect little girl touch. I confess my favorites are the two you did of Jesus or all of yours would be 6+!

You always earn most all of my sixes!! ...and for good reason.

This is just a wonderful drawing... the softness of both the young girl and the lamb come across the computer screen. Details such as her lock of hair are always included as a bonus to your drawings. Attention to detail, good technical skill, and superb composition make you a valued member of FAR.

you are so talented... you draw from the heart...not with your fingers. (so to speak.) ;-)

That's brilliantly suggested, in the way the lamb is cradled. Adds to the overall 'feel'of being safe. Sheep may safely graze.
