Your photo is one of profound vision. A husband. What does that mean in this time. I will tell you that my husband completes me. So this vision, upon the rocks, says more than words. It is a compelling foundation. Husband. There is no greater word in God's vocabulary.

I am glad I stopped in to view and read your notes. This is such an sad story. So this is a grave marker that has been washed apart? Your technical skills are all great and your perspective and framing have made for a very intriguing photo. Thanks for sharing and for your notes. ~Rebecca

First rate entry for this competition. It has a wonderful story in connection with it, and you know the story as well. Since you know the story it adds an extra ingredient to the photo.
Otherwise it looks like the Husband has been discarded amongst the rocks.
How it got there we will never know. Its humorous in a sad way.

For a just a second upon viewing I swear I thought this was a back of a skeleton with a dog collar saying husband..oh yeah I figure it out few seconds later but had to share a Lil comic view of this good capture of ur find. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of the rock with husband plate is great. The image is balance and eye interesting to the viewer. good eye and great job overall. I

What a testimony that they were together for so many years... and now the wife is gone. The stone that resides there is a reminder of what could be.

A very attractive and thought provoking image. The cropping/composition is excellent and the subtle tones are perfect. I like the detail and the fact that the stone is upside down. Best of luck in the contest.

This contest is so far, the most "high falutin" of all, that until now I haven't joined an entry yet!
Perhaps its because some slang phrases are only heard in your continents & not in Asia.
A great initial impact. Nice interesting subject. Excellent POV & DOF...Harmonious colors. Impressive lighting, focusing & framing.
Thanks for sharing...

I don;t understand Dick, it's just another contest, no? What slang phrases? Sorry for being dense, I don't get it.
