Excellent up close view. Clarity is great. The moon's topography and texture highlights the wonder and feel of the moon. The natural night background is perfect for the mystery of space.

Nice shot of the moon for the contest. Fantastic detail and textures over the focal point with nice clarity. The light and shadow play over the moon has just the right amount of drama. Good luck and thanks for sharing.

1600 mm? That's quite the zoom! The details are really impressive and I like the blue tint. Good luck in the contest and thanks for sharing.

    What is a bridge camera?
reply by the author on 03-Aug-2015
    google:
Bridge cameras are cameras that fill the niche between the single-lens reflex cameras (SLRs) and the point-and-shoot camera.[1][2] They are often comparable in size and weight to the smallest digital SLRs (DSLR) and there are also superzoom DSLR-shape bridge camera with retractable lens to make it more compact,[3] but almost all digital bridge cameras lack an optical viewfinder system (film bridges generally had a lighter version of a reflex finder). In addition, SLRs normally feature interchangeable lenses, while current bridge cameras do not.[4][not in citation given] They are prominent in the prosumer market segment. The phrase has been in use at least since the 1980s,[1] and continues to be used with digital cameras.[2] The term "bridge camera" was originally used to refer to film cameras which "bridged the gap" between point-and-shoot cameras and SLRs.[5][6]

A nice enough shot of the moon. The surface details are well shown even if the colors have been changed to protect the innocent. Nice cropping and presentation.

This is a very interesting take on the moon. The shot is very clear. The minor cropping did not take away from the main ideal of the subject. The special setting brought forth some very interesting effects. Great job. Also thanks for the interesting information.

A great picture of the Blue Moon showing great detail of it's surface as it glows in a dark sky. Artistic composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.
Bon chance in the contest.
