Well done! Your focus, framing, and lighting are all good. I love how you can see the deep shadows in all of the crevices. This is a very unique photo. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work :)

    Your welcome, for both photos :)

What a neat shot Fred, like the angle and frame with the shadows as the eye is drawn to the center of this historic location. If the walls could only talk, what stories we would learn. Focused and a nice blue sky. Good work.

    I'll send them back, as soon as they land; maybe they'll drown in the Atlantic!

focused, crisp lovely natural colors and a very interesting shot. Must have been tricky with the bright sun but the contrast of light and dark add interest. I get the feeling of someone looking in and it certainly adds to the story.

Why was the village deserted? It looks amazing and your description of the place is so vivid that I can almost imagine the view of the valley from that hill. The composition is very well considered, with the rocks (or is it that wood in the upper right corner?) creating a captivating natural frame. Wonderfully sharp details, great focus and DOF all contribute to really sensing the place without being there. Your ghost village feels alive under that light. Sorry I don't have any six's left to reward your talent with.

    thanks a lot for your lovely comments;
    no rock, no wood: just another house, or what remains of the house

A great shot. The foreground walls make it seem we are looking into past. Very nice composition and excellent colors. It seems that the minaret is more modern and looks a little out of place.

Another great view with fantastic technical attention. Focus is boulder solid with nice clarity into a finely captured depth of field. The choice to use the boulders as framing is creative, like a view through a window. Great color and light. Great story... Happy Travels and thanks for sharing.

love how to shot it, like trough a window, great angle of shot and composition

good notes about the place, but if the city is 1000 years old how can it be inhabited for 4000, some were you are missing a zero, or maybe have one too much

in any case, an excellent job

thanks for sharing
