They are so Adorable! The one on the left sitting up is indeed smiling and losing just for you!
Superb stop action, excellent focus, fab poses on all 3 and fine white balance/ exposure. Superb earth tone colors.
This should print well on Metallic paper.
Impressive camera techs!

Thanks a lot for the lovely review, and of course also for the 6 stars. I am so happy you like it. I took a lot of photos of the meerkats, and I am sure you will eventually see more of them.

They remind me of my chihuahua... He sits up like them. I love EVERYTHING your hands create!

These little creatures are so cute and so busy. Your image captures both attributes. Good composition, excellent depth of field, incredibly appealing. Thanks for sharing, really! And good luck in the contest.

I love Meerkats. They are so cute looking, sitting up like they do. You captured a very nice, clear, colorful shot. The Meerkat sitting up looks either fat, pregnant, or both. Thanks for posting this shot. Good luck in the contest.

Awesome shot with these little guys being camouflaged by the large rock in a hot dry environment. Sure to win the comp. as it is sharp in focus, has character and shows movement with the little guy in front digging a hole.
I love the one sitting up, he's a diamond. Would buy this if its for sale.

The colors are beautiful. I like the grainy rocks in the background. The expression captured in the upright animal is so adorable. Great timing, thanks for sharing.

I went to the Perth zoo a few years ago and was amazed by these little fellas. Love the way you captured the male posing for you. Very well done

I think meerkats are adorable! The focus is very good! The color is nice! The lighting is a little bright but not bad! If I can make a suggestion... If you were to turn down the brightness just a bit it would bring the colors up even more=) Just a thought! Well done and thansk for sharing! Lilibug6

Great job of getting all three in the center of the shot. Nice job of stopping the action. Good balance and focus. Wish there were more color in the back ground to help them stand out better, but understand you have to work with what you have. Only think I can say that might make it better is if you had waited for the little one to raise it's head. Thanks for sharing.
