Wow, what a fabulous bird! And what a stunning shot, and what an amazing photographer behind the camera! :D You've caught the perfect moment to catch the pelican spreading its wings, and you took the picture from the perfect point of view so that we can see all the amazing details on its peak. Clarity and sharpness are unbelievable, contrasts are fabulous, colors beautiful. My only regret is that I can't see its feet, too.
You provide so many wonderful pictures of the unusual animals, Eileen (probably haven't seen half of them in this part of the world)! Are you working in a sort of an animal shelter/hospital?
Sorry I'm out of all 5+ ratings... :/ You'd definitely deserve one of those!
