A beautiful picture of the Big Horn Sheep grazing in a forest clearing one Ram & his Harem of nine Ewes & a lamb, four grazing peacefully & five on alert for danger. Their white rumps seeming to glow on the light white the rest of their skins blending in with their surroundings. Beautiful composition framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

What a great shot. I am often stopping at the side of the road for a capture! Nice detail with this family. Great to see such a large group. Sharp. Nicely blended color. Good job.

Gorgeous photo so clear and sharp, great technical excellence. Nice impact with all the Rams in a herd together what are the odds. Different variations of them looking and eating is great! Really nice background with different things going on like the stacks of wood and the bushes accenting the trees with nice ground colors too! Great job!

What a remarkable sight. I don't believe I have ever seen some in such a small area. The colors are very nice and the composition is excellent.

Love the colors in this one. The white on the animals pops out at you and draws you in. The green in the background is excellent. Great lighting and focus. Great job

Your magnificent obsession with the wild life is very appealing. Your timing to capture their natural movements is faultless. The composition and colour stand out. Fine effort.

How cool is this. Most of us never get to see these big horn sheep in the wild. We have been all along the Rockies, up to Canada and have never spotted a single one. Great shot of the whole family! Do you live near Estes Park?

Thanks for the share :)

Thanks for taking the time to review Snowpaw. I'm about 90 minutes away from Estes Park. It was a thrill to get to see this herd as I had never seen Bighorn sheep before.
