Freezing Rain,besides frequently leaving unusual icicles on everything it touches,can be an annoying and potentially dangerous meteorological happening in the Winter!
Your fine looking photograph has the kind of 'Grim' and 'Dreary' tone that goes along great with the unusual subject! : )

Wow! These are definitely telling a stormy story! Great subject for this composition. I like that you used B&W and respect your efforts with your editing. I may have tried to quiet some of the noise..the graininess...with a tool. Nice work! I like it!

Thank you very much for your kind comments and your input. The graininess is intended. It is caused by the changes I made at color, shadows , highlights and mid tones. I made the changes because the original photo looked boring and the trees were taking over.

Really cool icicles here. Such wonderful shape to them. I always find snow and ice shots quite hard to get right. This one works well. Good clear details.
