Lovely, Annie. Is this an Azalea bush or a Rhododendron? You have been rewarded by your efforts to drop your trowel and pick up your camera with this one. What an interesting photo! The beads of water strung along the leafs are so organized. The hydrophobic wax is always such an interesting medium to work with after rainfall or condensation from frost. I love the colors, the red really pops out from the green. The lighting is also soft and emphasizes the delicacy of the leaves. The depth of field is wonderful. I am curious to see what the image looked like without the oil painting filter. I really like this picture!

Awesome picture. Love the position of the plant in the frame and the use of the soft focus in the background. I love doing these types of shots and the water drops look like jewels placed on the edges. Great focus.

How those reflecting water drops are placed on the leaves is something by itself but how you layered the background with overlapping plants and drops which go softer toward the outside and the back is extraordinary. I love how the vivid color of the plant in front and the brilliance of the water drops is contradicted with the subdued colors in the background. I also can see that the original photo[s] were flawless. The placement of the red-brown plant as center of interest is perfect. The creation is excellently balanced and framed.
