Lise, hi and welcome to FAR. You saw this beauty and shot it and froze it forever in your memory and "film".
There are a few tweeks that could improve this shot. For example: you want us to see the flower, it is the main focal point, why not crop down tightly and bring it up so that it is smack in our face!
See in the upper r hand corner how you have that very bright area? Did you know our eyes gravitate to the brightest spot on the canvas? OUr eyes go there and then go out completely....you want to do everything within your power to keep our eyes in your photo....a vignette would have worked. Also the flower is soft, it is not in focus, it must be in focus, it's what you are showing us. I can also see that the whole image is soft.
It may be to your advantage to list your camera specs in the artist's notes, then serious reviewers on this site could help you grow positively in your craft. The fluffers will blow smoke up your skirt but there are a few good reviewers here.
I love your point of you. You nailed that straight on...YES, good eyes and a good bend in the knees!

ok, thanks,,I have been taking photos for years, but never had anyone give me pointers. I just usually point and click what I get is what I get. Then the tweeking, well never even knew that I can crop ect. I always thought that that is taboo. Thanks

well, the soft colors here are Great, The detail and tones is good, In my opinion i think you have a love of negative space and a bit overexposure on the top, good effort, Jairos

Impressive capture of this cute bloom with a slight backlighting.
harmonious colors.
verdant backdrop.
I would consider cropping the overblown top portion
as it somehow distracts from viewing the main subject.
A closer presentation will enhance the initial impact...
this has a weird side view position...
thanks for sharing!

Always look for distracting elements, crop them & decide how to present your subject closely...
