United we stand Indeed! Fred this is a superb capture that evokes many emotions for those that were injured and for those that died. My family was touched by 911 in both the towers as well as the Pentagon.
There are no words to excuse these acts of violence.
Your shot is sharp and your POV with the silhouette people in the foreground make this special.

A fine tribute and a very nice shot. I am sure all people of conscience stand in solidarity with the French. It is a beautiful display with fine colors that exemplifies the way that civilized people respond to such an atrocity.

Indeed a strong statement and a fine tribute to all the victims of terrorism in Paris recently. Just like so many other people I was shocked to hear the news, even if we know the threat is there. The Eiffel tower dressed in the French colors is standing out so well against the black sky, and I especially like that you included people in the foreground looking at this magnificent symbol.
This is of course also a really well taken night shot, but in this case it is also other things I am thinking about when I see this.

What an Iconic picture! Love seeing the city lights beneath. Perfectly framed. Dark background emphasizes the lighted tower. POV helps you feel the height of the tower. Focus is good. The shadow's of people in the front add to the reality of this shot.
