And here I thought the Eiffel Tower had moved to the USA. LOL. Splendid night capture this French icon/trademark. I really like the colors as well. Nice focus and detail throughout. Enjoy the silhouetted heads in the shallow DOF.
Thanks for sharing.

Very cool and excellent night shooting Fred. The Eiffel Tower is really quite crisp, despite the resizing issues, lol.
Being from the USA, I can pretend the French are being nice to us, now there is a fantasy :)
Nice shooting!! Happy 2016 and Congrats on the top spot in Photography this year.

AWESOME - This is certainly a striking image with dynamic contrast and attractive lighting. I actually like the silhouettes of people on the bottom as well as the city lights in the distance; both minimize the idea of isolation; A good thing given recent events. A great image that yells together we stand. Nice. Kathy

Wow! This is a beautiful photo and an amazing tribute. I love the colors on the Eiffel Tower. You really captured it well. Your focus, framing, and obviously the lighting are all amazing. I love how it glows and I love the deeper meaning behind the photo. This is the perfect tribute towards the people who lost their lives. Well done and thanks for sharing :)

Frank,
May I echo your sentiments Vivre la belle France... A beautiful night time picture of la Tour Eiffel with la Musee de l'Homme seen flood lit under it's arch & the crowds standing in silhouette in la place de Mars in the foreground. The colours of the tricolour glowing in the night sky. Beautiful composition, framing & flood lighting taken with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

This deserves a six but I don't have one. So sorry. It was such a tragedy in Paris. Prayers for all who were lost and their loved ones. A beautiful shot of the magnificent tower. I've been away and am leaving again but will be back. Best wishes. Nancy
