A nice shot of this exotic hornet. The background is excellent and the colors are fantastic. It does appear as though this hornet is dead though.

Outstanding shot! The detail is spectacular. I dont like bees at all, this shot just makes me not like them that much more lol. The colors are excellent, very natural and pleasing to the eye. The framing is well done, pulling in the details inside the hive. That itself is something we dont see often. Nicely done, thanks for sharing!

An interesting picture of the invasive Asian Hornet up close & personal with it's head inside a cell of it's comb ( I assume it is dead after the exterminator destroyed it's Nest) Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Allowing us to see the Hornet in great detail.

What an interesting story behind these hornets. We have here what are called Japanese Hornets which are quite large and love to fly at the lights on your houses at night. They also build large paper nest which can hold thousands. I have been stung once by them and it definitely hurt for some time. Anyway, this is an excellent macro shot of this hornet. The details are clear and sharp. Great job all around.
