It is first and foremost the simplicity I like so much with this image. What a great idea to use a white silhouette against a black background. It is indeed effective. The silhouette is also standing out really sharp and well defined.

When the negative black space needs to fill at least 75 percent of the image, it is not easy to get a well balanced composition, but I think you have managed this really well. What helps believe it or not is the twigs sticking out from the branch.

I think this is a really lovely entry for this contest, and I wish you luck.

Impressive creation!
Excellent negative silhouette.
Interesting initial.
This is better than the black version as the dark subject stands more prominent in black backdrop than the reverse.
