Good capture. The dark birds are curious and the seagull is chilling out. The last time I shot a seagull in strong light, I had the same problem with a bit of flaring or over exposing of the feathers. Not serious but a bit bright. The group shot is cool.

WOW what a fabulous photo. Colors are marvelous, white is really white - brown and beige ducks are as awesome as white one. Well centered, shadowed and detailed perfectly. In all, perfect photo and great eye viewer.

A very well captured scene William. The colors and the shadows are so well balanced. The depth of field really makes the birds stand out. Even the white of the Gull is not washed out. Well done William ~ Steve

It must be near where the fishing boats dock. I've never seen a gull hanging out with cormorants, but if there is food involved all rules are off. Very nice composition and beautiful colors.

The Seagull looks like the king of the hill in this photo. He is taking life really easy while his Cormorant life guard is holding watch to see to that he is safe. This is actually quite a funny shot, even if I am sure you did not mean it to be. It is the way the birds are posing being a bit funny. The birds are anyway standing out really well against the background.

Your photo is also nice and sharp showing really clear and well defined details in all the birds, and also the exposure is very good.

The photo is really well framed and each bird has got a perfect placement within the frame. A truly lovely, but also funny photo and really well taken and with an excellent DOF.

A great shot of the trio of Cormorants & the resting Gull bathed in sunshine on the quay enjoying the warmth of the sun & hoping for fish later. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with razor sharp focus.
