Very nice capture of these seedlings. They look like fairies with the snow. Great focus and background. Nice that you took photo of the group and not just one. Very bright even though we know its winter. I really like this

A superb shot in every respect. The composition is excellent and the details are very well captured. I think the exposure for the snow is perfect (though I can hear the screams of the pixel counters already). A truly elegant image.

Oh! This is just lovely. What a wonderful treat for the viewer! I like how the wispy plant is echoed and enhanced by the snowflakes. I do wish for a bit more DOF, as the eye gets distracted in the lower left corner. But... very nice shot!

That's such a lovely photo, Meg! I saw it yesterday when you posted it and wanted to comment on it right away, but unfortunately had to run to my chores. Well, here I am now, still loving it! :) Such soft, feathery seeds are always an amazing thing to photograph - their gentleness makes the composition so wonderfully delicate. The snowflakes are an amazing touch. Camera settings were very good: lighting is fabulous, shutter speed was fast enough to freeze any motion blur, large aperture smoothed out the background and provided excellent, distraction-free canvas for your delicate seeds to stand out. Colors are basic, but natural and beautifully harmonious. The way you cropped and framed it is fabulous. The only minus in this is that out-of-focus seed in the bottom left corner... Everything else works perfectly for me!

Meg, this is a very interesting image. The sparkling white seeds look like pieces of jewelry (diamonds). The dark background helps emphasize the sparkling seeds. Nice shot.

I know that the one balances the picture out.......so not sure what you can do. I like that you had a snow squall during the photo shoot. Those little flakes look amazing. Great job.

A very cool shot achieved with natural elements (subject, snow and light). I really like the whimsical appearance this image offers. I find myself waiting or searching in the image for a little fairy. This is a magical shot - the pods appear to be stars - very cool indeed. Kathy
