Love the contrast between the bright green moss and the soft grey/blue of the background mountains. I like the angle you used for this. Excellent lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Wonderful first impression, Love the colors that you captured here and the good depth and textures and details in the moss covered rocks, the soft background really adds depth. Thank you for sharing. Dale

Initial impact: a beautiful composition
Creativity of presentation: Depth of field is well executed. It builds clear dimension
Color Harmony: eye-pleasing fresh
Center of Interest: the image is sharp and clean. Great focus on the moss rocks. Bluish background enhances the beauty of the rocks.
Technical Excellence: good framing

Well done and thanks for sharing.

Upgraded... less of the sky works much better!

Such nice velvety moss in such vivid green, the contrast is very nice with the dark grey tones of the rocks and debris. You know of course the white upper third of the frame is too powerful? It is tugging and pulling away from the beauty of the image. I would suggest cropping to panorama to make the image all about the moss, mountains and cloud cover. Perhaps reducing highlight or adding just a tad of color to tone down the white that remains. The spot of tree branches upper right should also be addressed. This is a fantastic perspective just needs a little work upper frame. Thanks for sharing.

Nice panorama with this driftwood, mossy mountain stones & rotting leaves.
I find the contrast here too extreme as the foreground has shady nooks crevices while the background has an overblown sky...is this what Sange call, white balance?
Thanks!

Thanks Dick, thought about cropping that section but the low white cloud is what it was like against the richness of the greens - the colors were that vibrant. Cheers Mary

Cool,Mary!
An interesting and enjoyable scene,my friend!
It reminds me of photos that my uncle would show me of the areas of New Guinea that he served in during the Second World War!

Thanks Sean, appreciate your feedback. They used areas like this although a bit further north for training the Army for the rigors of New Guinea.
