though water can be very dangerous, the way fountains react is always fascinating. My sister university to the UEL was Leipzig Uni where I had to study for one year. It was full of ancient fountains which were fascinating- green and blue always make a good show and the patterned white gives it so much lift--

Hi Chuck and indeed there is beauty to seeing details of a waterfall and not necessarily making it smooth as silk (and oh so cliche).
There is not a thing wrong with this sharp image but if you have Photoshop I would clone in some bush at the upper Right (our right) to obliterate that house, it would be so easy to do and your photo would be all about that fountain. That is only a suggestion for your consideration.
You do have it well cropped and the point of view is comfortable, the colours natural and you did freeze that action!

Yes, actually when Jim Carrey got his star on the walk way he imprinted his hands and his daughter's hands into the cement and wrote "merrily merrily merrily" and for some reason I remembered that when I picked that handle. Besides, I don't know about your life, but mine does feel like a dream.... :-) (not a nightmare)

Composition would be improved by cropping out the top and eliminating the house and the white thing in front of it. This would also aid in decentering the fountain vertically. Good capture of the moment although a bit slower shutter speed may of given a better feel for the flow.
